Definition

今住んでいる場所や職場などから、別の新しい場所に移って生活や活動を始めること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に『新しい家・町・国』など物理的な場所へ移って住み始めるときに使います（例：『東京に引っ越す』）。一時的な滞在には使いません。「go to」や「travel to」は短期の場合に使用されます。
