湿気の多い場所で生えるカビによって覆われたり、傷んだりしている状態。たいていはカビ臭やシミがある。

主に本、服、壁、食べ物など、湿度でカビが生えた物に使う。カビそのものではなく、カビの影響を受けた状態を指し、否定的な意味。
