الميكروفيلم هو ورقة مسطحة من الفيلم تحتوي على صور مصغرة لوثائق مطبوعة ويمكن قراءتها باستخدام جهاز تكبير خاص.

يستخدم غالباً في المكتبات والأرشيفات لتخزين عدد كبير من الوثائق بشكل مضغوط. أصبح نادراً بسبب التحول الرقمي، لكنه يُستخدم في البحث والتوثيق التاريخي. لا تخلطه مع 'الميكروفيلم' الذي يأتي عادةً في لفافة.
