Definition

流星是來自太空的岩石或金屬碎片，進入地球大氣層時會燃燒且發亮，常在天空中看到一道光線。

「流星」是指進入大氣層發光的現象，不是還在太空的碎片（「流星體」）或掉在地上的部分（「隕石」）。常見說法有「流星雨」。日常也會叫「流星」或「流星雨」。
