أن تتظاهر بأن شيئًا ما صحيح، خاصة أثناء اللعب أو التخيل. يُستخدم غالبًا عند تمثيل مواقف غير حقيقية.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يستخدم غالبًا بطريقة غير رسمية، خاصة مع الأطفال أثناء اللعب التخيلي ('make believe that you are a king'). عادة لا يستخدم في السياقات الرسمية. يشبه 'pretend' لكنه أكثر متعة وخيالاً.
