把某物（通常是錢）借給某人一段時間，期望對方歸還，通常還要支付利息。也可以指暫時提供物品或資源。

“loaning” 指暫時把錢或物品借給別人，通常是錢。口語裡常用 “lending”。“loan me...” 比較口語，更正式的是 “could you lend me...”。美語常用 “loan”。
