把某物（通常是钱）借给某人一段时间，期望对方归还，通常还要支付利息。也可以指暂时提供物品或资源。

“loaning” 指临时把钱或物品借给别人，通常是钱。在口语交流中，“lending”也常用。“loan me...” 比较口语化，更正式场合可用 “could you lend me...”。“loan” 在美式英语较常用。
