Definition

Lines लंबी और पतली रेखाओं या निशानों को कहते हैं। यह शब्द इंतज़ार करती हुई कतारों, रस्सियों या तारों, या लिखे/बोले गए छोटे हिस्सों के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह एक बहुत आम बहुवचन संज्ञा है जिसके कई अर्थ हैं। सामान्य प्रयोग हैं 'draw lines', 'wait in line', 'read between the lines', और 'learn your lines'। American English में इंतज़ार करती कतार के लिए 'line' शब्द 'queue' से ज़्यादा आम है।
