'Let' का भूतकाल अर्थ है किसी चीज़ की अनुमति देना या किसी को कुछ करने की अनुमति देना।

'Let' अनियमित क्रिया है; इसका भूतकाल भी 'let' ही है। अक्सर 'let someone do something' के साथ उपयोग होता है। वस्तुओं के लिए नहीं, उनके लिए 'allow' या 'permit' का प्रयोग करें।

My parents let me stay up late last night.
मेरे माता-पिता ने मुझे कल रात देर तक जागने की **अनुमति दी**।
The teacher let us leave early after the test.
