Usage Notes (Bengali)

অনানুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহার হয়। সাধারণত বড় ঝুঁকি নেওয়ার অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়: 'lay your life on the line', 'lay your job on the line'। কাউকে স্পষ্ট ও খোলামেলা কিছু বলতে চাইলে 'lay it on the line' ব্যবহার হয়।
