Lading 指正在装载、运送或运输的货物，尤其是通过船只运输时常用。也常见于如 'bill of lading' 这样的正式运输文件中。

Lading 是高度正式的术语，主要用于海运和法律、商业领域。现代英语通常只在“bill of lading”中看到。很少用于空运或陆运文件。
