Intérpretes são pessoas que traduzem palavras faladas de um idioma para outro, geralmente em tempo real, em conversas, reuniões ou eventos.

'Intérprete' refere-se à tradução oral; 'tradutor' é para textos escritos. 'Intérpretes' trabalham em conferências, tribunais, hospitais ou ligações. Não confunda com o termo de informática, que é raro neste contexto. Plural sempre: 'dois intérpretes'.
