সমাজের সেই শ্রেণি, যারা অনেক শিক্ষিত এবং সাধারণত বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক, শিল্প বা সংস্কৃতি বিষয়ক কর্মকাণ্ডে জড়িত থাকেন।
