Se algo é inaudível, não pode ser ouvido porque é muito baixo ou há muito barulho.

Usado de forma formal ou técnica, geralmente para vozes, sons ou ruídos de fundo. Muito comum em 'an inaudible whisper'. Não confundir com 'indistinto' (pouco claro) ou 'silencioso' (sem som).
