사냥한다찾아다닌다

Definition

음식이나 오락을 위해 동물을 잡거나 죽이려고 돌아다니는 것. 또는 무언가를 신중하게 찾는다는 뜻도 있음.

'hunts'는 3인칭 단수 형태로 사람, 동물, 사물 모두 쓸 수 있음. 'hunts for clues', 'hunts animals' 같은 표현에 자주 쓰임. 'chase'는 쫓는다는 의미만 있고 꼭 잡는 건 아님.

The lion hunts at night.

사자는 밤에 **사냥한다**.

She hunts for mushrooms in the forest.

그녀는 숲에서 버섯을 **찾아다닌다**.

He hunts deer every autumn.

그는 매 가을마다 사슴을 **사냥한다**.

My cat hunts birds even though she's never hungry.
