Definition

朝某地行进，或前往特定目的地。常用来表示开始向某地出发。

口语中常用，后面常接地点或方向，如“head for 家里”、“head for 出口”。指朝某地走，不是指头部动作。

We should head for the nearest hotel before it gets dark.
