Definition

資料や食べ物などを人々に一人ずつ手渡すこと。

'hand out'は主に口語的で、実際に手で物（例：'hand out flyers'）を配るシーンで使われます。お金を正式に配る場合には普通使いません。'give out'と混同されますが、'hand out'は手渡しのニュアンスが強いです。
