Definition

誰かや何かのそばを歩いたり、通ったりして先へ進むこと。普通、歩く・車で移動するなどで使います。

道案内や移動を説明するときによく使われます。「go past the station」のように使い、よりフォーマルな「pass」や意味が違う「go by」と区別しましょう。
