Definition
부끄럽거나 조용해지거나 내성적으로 변하는 것. 주로 나쁜 일이 있으면 거북이가 껍데기 속에 숨듯이 행동함.

비공식적 표현. 부끄러움·실망 후 갑자기 조용해지거나 내성적으로 변할 때 씀. 'withdraw'보다 더 부드럽고 비유적 표현임.
