町や地域の中を移動したり、動き回ること。問題や障害をうまく回避するという意味でも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた会話でよく使う言葉。'get around the city'は街中を移動すること、'get around a rule'は規則などをうまく避けることを意味する。「get around to」は別の表現なので注意。
