"gentles" in Korean
Definition
주로 낚시 미끼로 사용하는 파리의 유충(구더기)를 의미합니다. 옛 영어에서는 예의 바르거나 귀족적인 사람들을 가리킬 때 쓰였으나, 지금은 거의 쓰이지 않습니다.

현대에는 주로 낚시 미끼로서만 쓰이고, 'gentle'처럼 성격이나 태도를 지칭하지 않습니다. 고전 문학에서의 사용은 매우 드뭅니다.
