Definition

部屋の換気が悪かったり人が多すぎたりして、重くて不快なこもった空気のこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にイギリス英語で使われる口語的な表現。屋内限定で使い、‘the fug of the classroom’や‘thick fug’のような形で使う。屋外には使わない。
