Capas finas de hielo que se forman en las superficies cuando la temperatura baja de cero, generalmente durante la noche. "Frosts" se refiere a varias veces que ocurre escarcha.

"Frosts" es plural de "frost" y se usa para hablar de varios días o eventos de escarcha. Muy usado en reportes meteorológicos: 'heladas ligeras/fuertes'. 'Frost' es generalmente incontable, pero "frosts" indica varios episodios. No confundir con "freezes" (congelaciones) o 'nieve'.
