किसी को उस अपराध का दोषी दिखाना जो उसने नहीं किया, आमतौर पर झूठी गवाही या नकली सबूत से।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

हमेशा असामान्य और नकारात्मक प्रयोग—जानबूझकर फँसाने के लिए, खासतौर पर कानूनी या पुलिस संदर्भों में प्रयुक्त। आमतौर पर 'frame someone up' के रूप में मिलता है। 'frame' (फोटो फ्रेम आदि) से न मिलाएँ।
