Definition

나무와 식물이 빽빽하게 자라는 넓은 땅을 말합니다. 여러 동식물이 사는 자연 환경입니다.

‘숲’은 일상적으로 쓰입니다. ‘woods’는 더 작은 숲, ‘jungle’은 열대 우림을 뜻합니다. 'rain forest', 'forest fire', 'forest path', 'forest ranger' 등과 자주 함께 쓰입니다.
