लोगों के चलने के लिए बना रास्ता, आमतौर पर सड़कों से अलग और केवल पैदल यात्रियों द्वारा इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Footpath' ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में ज्यादा आम है। अमेरिकन अंग्रेज़ी में 'sidewalk' (शहरी फुटपाथ) या 'trail' (घुमने की पगडंडी/मार्ग) कहते हैं। यह शब्द पार्क या गाँव के रास्तों के लिए होता है, न कि मुख्य सड़कों के साथ की पक्की पटरी के लिए।
