Definition

종이나 천, 음식 등을 접어서 한 부분이 다른 부분을 덮게 하는 것; 보통 겹치거나 작게 만들 때 사용한다.

대부분 물건(특히 종이, 천, 반죽)에 사용; 'in half'(반으로 접다)와 자주 함께 쓰임. 요리에서 속을 덮다라는 뜻일 수도 있음. 그냥 'fold'와 혼동 주의.

Fold over the paper to make a card.

카드를 만들기 위해 종이를 **접어** 주세요.

Please fold over the blanket before putting it away.

이불을 치우기 전에 **반으로 접어** 주세요.

You need to fold over the dough and press the edges together.
