बिना ध्यान से पढ़े किताब, पत्रिका आदि के पन्नों को जल्दी-जल्दी पलटना।

यह एक अनौपचारिक अभिव्यक्ति है, आमतौर पर 'book', 'magazine', 'brochure' आदि के साथ प्रयोग होती है। इसका अर्थ है ध्यान से न पढ़ना, बस जल्दी-जल्दी देखना। अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में 'flip through' भी आम है।
