Definition

लंबे, आमतौर पर खड़े डंडे जिन पर झंडे लटकाए जाते हैं। ये अक्सर इमारतों, स्कूलों या समारोहों के सामने होते हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

ज्यादातर औपचारिक, सार्वजनिक या समारोह के मौकों पर इस्तेमाल होता है। एक से अधिक डंडों के लिए 'झंडे के डंडे' कहें। 'डंडा' या 'छड़ी' से न confund करें। सामान्य वाक्य: 'झंडा डंडे पर फहराना'।
