Definition

金具とは、配管や家具、衣類などに取り付けて使う、小さな部品や付属品のことです。接続や装飾などの目的で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

通常は複数形で使われ、配管や内装などで複数の小さな金属部品や接続部品を指します。'plumbing fittings'や'door fittings'のように使います。「fixtures」（備品）とは異なり、主に取り付け・接続用の小物を指します。
