ボタンやジッパー、シートベルト、ストラップなどをしっかり留めること。しっかり閉じる必要がある服や物によく使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

"Fasten up"はややカジュアルで、服やシートベルトなどをしっかり留めるときの指示で使われます。"fasten"や"do up"でも同じ意味。フォーマルな文章には不向きで、ドアなどには使いません（その場合は"close"や"shut"を使う）。
