'Famished' 'hungry' से कहीं ज़्यादा भूख ज़ाहिर करने के लिए है। आमतौर पर मज़ाक या ज़ोर देने के लिए बोला जाता है, सच में भूखे मरने के लिए नहीं। यह अनौपचारिक है।
