أن تغطي أو تحيط بشيء بالكامل، غالبًا بطريقة تخفيه أو تحميه.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

أكثر رسمية أو أدبًا من 'cover'، وغالبًا مع الضباب أو الظلام أو المشاعر. لا تخلطها مع 'envelope' (ظرف الرسالة). تعبيرات شائعة: 'envelop in mist', 'enveloped by darkness'.
