أن ترتكب خطأً أو تفشل في القيام بشيء مهم، عادة بسبب الإهمال أو عدم الانتباه.

هذه عبارة عامية تُستخدم غالباً في العمل أو الفرق حين يفشل أحدهم في مسؤولية ما. لا تعني إسقاط شيء فعلي. قريبة من 'أخطأ' أو 'أفسد الأمر'.
