Definition
কিছু সুক্ষ্ম বা অস্পষ্ট বিষয় স্পষ্টভাবে দেখা বা বোঝা, অথবা দুটি বিষয়ে পার্থক্য নিরূপণ করা।

এটি সাধারন কথোপকথনে কম ব্যবহৃত হয়; ‘discern between’ বা ‘discern subtle changes’ মত শিক্ষামূলক বা গম্ভীর প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহার হয়।
