浸すちょっと入れる

Definition

何かをさっと液体などに部分的に浸すこと。また、活動に少しだけ参加したり見る場合にも使います。

主にカジュアルな表現。食べ物（'dip in the sauce'）、水（'dip in the pool'）、または短時間何かに参加する（'dip in to say hi'）場面で多い。名詞の 'dip'（坂やソース）とは混同しないように。主語は人や物どちらも使える。

Please dip in your brush to get some paint.
