Definition

物事や人が時間をかけて成長したり、変化したり、より良くなったりすること。アイデアやスキル、製品を作り出したり向上させる意味でも使う。

「develops quickly」「develops a skill」「develops a habit」などの使い方が多い。学術、ビジネスなどフォーマルな場面でよく用いられる。「create」（新しく作る）や「grow」（大きくなる）とは使い方が違うので注意。

The baby develops quickly and learns new things every day.
