'Crost', 'crossed' kelimesinin eski veya şiirsel hali olup, günümüzde neredeyse hiç kullanılmaz. Genellikle eski edebi eserlerde geçer.

Modern Türkçede 'crost' kullanılmaz, yerine 'crossed' kullanılır. Sadece şiir ya da tarihi eserlerde rastlanabilir.
