Credence 意指相信某事的真實性或可靠性，常用於正式場合，通常缺乏強有力的證據時也可用，亦指接受某事為真。

‘Credence’ 是正式用語，主要出現在書面語或正式場合。常見搭配有 'give credence to'（信任）和 'lend credence to'（增添可信度）。口語對話中較少見。
