Coverup 是指試圖隱藏非法、錯誤或令人尷尬的事情的真相。有時也指用來遮蓋舊紋身的新紋身。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
非正式名詞，多用於新聞、政治，如「政府掩蓋」。紋身領域可指「遮蓋紋身」。不要和指海灘服裝的 'cover-up' 混淆。常帶有指控含義。
