Definition

把某人或某物關在一個狹小封閉的空間裡，讓其無法自由活動。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

多為非正式用法，多指人或動物。經常以被動語態使用（be cooped up）。多形容長時間被困在室內、沒有自由。不要跟英文'coop'（雞舍）混淆。'Coop up'並非指永久監禁。
