何かが突然現れたり話題になったりすること。また、誰かや何かに近づく場合にも使う。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
口語で非常によく使うフレーズです。問題や話題が突然出る時や、誰かが近づいてくる時に使います。物理的に「上がる」という意味ではありません。
Examples
A new problem came up at work today.
今日、会社で新しい問題が**出てきました**。
He came up to me and asked a question.
