Definition
Bir şeyi anlamaya veya cevabını bulmaya yardımcı olan bilgi, işaret veya belirtilerdir. Genellikle gizemler, araştırmalar ve oyunlarda kullanılır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Günlük kullanımda genellikle çoğul kullanılır: 'ipucu ara', 'bize ipucu ver'. 'a clue about', 'a clue to' ve 'ipuçlarını takip etmek' gibi ifadeler sıkça geçer. İngilizcede 'I haven't got a clue', 'hiçbir fikrim yok' anlamındadır.
