Definition

物理的なもの（ガラス、水、目など）や心の状態（記憶や判断など）がはっきりしなくなったり、見えにくくなったりすること。

物理的な曇り（曇った目・ガラスなど）にも、比喩的な使い方（記憶が曇る、判断が曇るなど）にも使う。'clouding of vision'や'clouding the issue'のような表現が多い。
