Definition
人々が曲芸師や道化師、調教された動物などのショーを見に行く場所で、通常大きなテントの中で行われます。また、騒々しくて混乱した状況を指す時にも使われます。

「サーカス」は複数形の使い方で様々なサーカス団やイベントを指します。比喩的に騒がしく混沌とした状況でも使われます。
