'চার্চইয়ার্ড' সাধারণত ঐতিহ্যবাহী গির্জার সাথে যুক্ত কবরস্থান বোঝায়; সব কবরস্থান গির্জার পাশে হয় না। শব্দটি ব্রিটিশ ইংরেজিতে বেশি প্রচলিত।
