Definition

वाहन को हिलने से रोकने के लिए पहियों के पास रखे जाने वाले ब्लॉक, खासकर हवाई जहाज, ट्रक या भारी उपकरणों के लिए।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर बहुवचन ('chocks') में इस्तेमाल होता है। आम तौर पर 'wheel chocks', 'put in the chocks', 'remove the chocks' जैसे वाक्य इस्तेमाल होते हैं। यह शब्द विशेष रूप से विमानन, ट्रकिंग और वाहन सुरक्षा में प्रयोग होता है। इसे 'chalk' (चाक) से न मिलाएँ।
