Definition

シェブロンはV字型の記章や模様で、主に軍服や警察の制服、道路標識、衣服の装飾などに使われます。

主に軍や警察の階級章を指すことが多いですが、道路標示やファッション柄にも使われます。「chevron」は形や模様のパターン名としても使われます。

The sergeant had three chevrons on his sleeve.
