Definition

複数の独房が集まった刑務所内の一区画のこと。受刑者がここに収容される。

主に刑務所や拘置所の建物構造を指す場合に使用。'収容区画'は複数の独房をまとめた部分で、単なる'独房'（個室）とは異なる。
