কিছু ঘটানো বা চলতে থাকা বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া। কোনো কিছুর শেষ হওয়া বা আর না চলা অবস্থাকে বোঝায়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'Ceases' সাধারণত লিখিত বা আনুষ্ঠানিক কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। হঠাৎ কোনো শারীরিক ক্রিয়ার ক্ষেত্রে 'stop' ব্যবহার করা ভালো।
